THERAPY & EVALUATIONS
Pediatric Services
EVALUATIONS
Our services begin with an evaluation to develop a comprehensive picture of your child's skills, strengths, and challenges. Evaluations consist of parent interviews, a speech-language sample, observation of parent-child interactions, standardized assessments, and play-based activities with the therapist. Following the evaluation, we review the results and collaborate to develop a treatment plan with individualized goals.

EARLY INTERVENTION for CHILDREN BIRTH to 3 YEARS OLD
Early intervention focuses on supporting young children in building communication, social, and cognitive skills. Use new words to communicate

Understand and express emotions in a healthy and effective way

-
Play and interact with family members

-
Express needs and preferences effectively

-
Take turns and share with others

-
Become more flexible by problem-solving, transitioning, and adapting to new routines
THERAPY FOR LANGUAGE DELAYS & DISORDERS
Does your child struggle to follow directions, answer questions, or use words to share their ideas? We can help! In our language therapy sessions, every activity is designed to feel like play— but we’re targeting specific language skills along the way to make communication both fun and meaningful. Our play-based approach to therapy will help your child:

-
Understand and follow directions

-
Use new vocabulary to express needs, ideas, and emotions

-
Speak in grammatically correct sentences

-
Ask and answer questions

-
Engage in conversations by taking turns and staying on topic

-
Use words to express emotions and advocate for their own needs

-
Become a more confident and independent communicator

ARTICULATION THERAPY FOR SPEECH SOUND DISORDERS
Articulation therapy is for children who have difficulty pronouncing specific sounds or groups of sounds, impacting their ability to be clearly understood by others. These challenges can include sounds like "r", "s", "l", or other speech sounds that develop later in childhood. Whether your child is in the early stages of speech sound development or simply needs support with one sound, we can help them:
-
Speak more clearly

-
Produce age-appropriate speech sounds and sound combinations

-
Coordinate their lip, tongue, and jaw movements for speech

-
Confidently communicate and interact with other children, teachers, and adults

AUTISM & GESTALT LANGUAGE PROCESSING
Does your child communicate using phrases or chunks they’ve heard before rather than generating their own new sentences? They may be a gestalt language processor! This is a natural and common way for many autistic children to learn language. We will follow your child's lead and support them on their unique language journey using their favorite songs, games, and sensory activities. Gestalt language therapy focuses on helping your child:

-
Use language to connect with others

-
Speak in their own words to express their thoughts, ideas, and feelings

-
Ask for what they need and advocate for themselves

-
Initiate social interactions

-
Feel more connected to family members and friends
